Q164: Equal length haircut

Question:

When one has a haircut, does it have to be one blade (equal length)?

Answer

Yes, it is important to have an equal length cut. There is a hadith in

Abu Dawood Shareef – “Shave it all or leave it all”,

and “He, s.a.w. forbade Qaza’ for us”.

Qaza’ means shaving part of the head and leaving some hair.
