Q471: Wife's milk accidentally going in husband's mouth

Question: I want to know what needs to be done if the milk from the wife’s breast entered the mouth and it was swallowed by the husband. It happened some time back but I’m worried now if it is a sin or not.

Answer: Nothing happens. Don’t worry, milk relations only take effect if the milk is taken during the suckling period which is 2 years, according to shafi madh’hab and 30 months according to imam Abu hanifa’s research.
