How we can help the people of the gaza most?
We often think lets boycott this, lets boycott that yet we don’t boycott the most harmful thing in our lives. Our sins.
The month of forgiveness is coming to a close. Lets think carefully and repent from all sins.
Our sins could be the reason for the suffering of the Muslims in Gaza!
The children of Israel during the time of Musa (as) suffered drought. Musa (as) asked people to come with him and to pray to Allah for Rain. At first there was a light cloud in the sky. When they started to pray that cloud disappeared.
Allah Revealed to Musa (as) that there is one man among you who has been disobeying Me for forty years. Tell him to leave your group and I will answer your prayers.
Musa (as) said: O’ my Lord there are forty thousand among us and he is only one. Allah insisted that the sinner must leave.
Musa (as) asked how should I know who he is?” “Just call out among the people and leave the rest to Me”, came back the reply. Musa (as) did as he was told.
The sinner looked around him and did not find any man reacting and knew that he was the intended one. How should I go out of the crowd? I would be ruined forever, thought the man. He covered his head with his cloak in shame and prayed to Allah: ” I am repenting from all sins. If you shield me this day I will never sin again”, was his prayer of repentance.
Immediately, clouds returned and it started raining like it had never rained before. Musa (as) said to Allah: “I have looked carefully and none among us has left, so how come the rain has started?
Allah said “That person because of whom rain stopped, is the same person because of whom rain is coming. He has wholeheartedly repented from all sins and he is my friend now”.
Musa as asked “Who was it O Lord? Can I see him?” Allah replied: For forty years I have shielded him from shame while he disobeyed Me and now that he has become mine how can I expose him?
