Malfoozaat

Shaykh Yunus saheb’s malfoozaat, words of wisdom.
“Hazrat Khadija radiallahu Anha had great love for Rasulullah salllallahu alayhi wasallam. She would set off with food & water, carrying it above her head. She wouldn’t know where he had gone. But her spiritual connection with him would take her to the cave of Hira, where she would find him and feed him. No woman would do that today.

This is why Rasulullah salllallahu alayhi wasallam had special love for her. He never married another woman while she was alive. Once after her death and while he was in Madina shareef, her sister came to visit Rasulullah salllallahu alayhi wasallam. Upon hearing her voice, he was shaken, and began to say “O Allah! Haala is here.” Many times he would slaughter a goat and send meat to the friends of khadija. This is why why there is no dispute regarding the greatness of Khadija radiallahu Anha.
As for Aysha radiallahu Anha, Rasulullah’s love for her was of a different type. He knew she was a gifted personality and he knew that knowledge of Deen would spread through her. No woman in the world has spread as much knowledge as Aysha radiallahu Anha. Even when a woman like Umme salamah spoke to Rasulullah salllallahu alayhi wasallam about his immense love for Aysha, he said “Do not hurt me regarding Aysha” she replied “I repent to Allah from hurting you” (When Fatima radiallahu Anha spoke to him, he said “Do you not love who I love?” She replied “Of course I do” he said “Then love her”)

Shaykh said during today’s Khatm of bukhari shareef:
“All these calamities which are befalling the ummah, there is only one solution for them; Turn to Allah! Seek forgiveness from Him. Make Him happy. Sincere repentance is needed. Only He can remove all the sufferings from the ummah.
“Allah has given us two sources of protection (amaan):

1) Rasulullah salllallahu alayhi wasallam. His personality was such that Allah declared that He would never send down an umoomi azaab while he is alive. His roohaniyyat was so strong that it would stop any general punishment covering the community as a whole. وما كان الله ليعذبهم وانت فيهم
2, Istighfaar, repenting and seeking forgiveness wholeheartedly; Look at the people of Yunus alayjissalaam. They saw the punishment approaching and they all went out in to the open and began to cry in front of Allah. The chastisement which was hovering above their heads immediately went back. If we all collectively repent, Allah’s anger will subside and things will change for the better. و ما كان الله معذبهم وهم يستغفرون

Allah is more merciful to the creation than a mother to her child. A mother’s mercy is nothing compared to Allah’s mercy. It is us who are in negligence and turning away from Allah all the time.

While we were in London a young came to shake hands with shaykh. He was wearing tight leggings. Shaykh said “In my understanding this is haram. It reveals the shape of the body. Avoid it.”

I thought this was a male, what If shaykh saw all the females wearing tight clothes revealing the shape of the body.”
