Are personal injury claims halal, even if you not hurt in the accident?

And what if you are hurt. Is it halal?

Answer

If you are not hurt and you make a claim, you would be lying which is a grave sin. If you are injured and you make a legitimate claim, it could be allowed when within limits. many times people make excessive claims. This is not right. These claims increase the premium of  other innocent people.
