Q131: Discount rate to members

Assalamualaykum,

Can we have a discounted rate for Members of our anjuman to various services provided, e.g., Madrasah fees, hall hire etc.

Answer

Yes, there is no harm in this. It is only for Nizam and Tarteeb. Also, priorities can be given to those who have made sacrifices in the beginning. When Hazrat Umar Radiyallahu anhu distributed the allowance, he gave more to those who participated in Badr and so forth.
