How do I control my gaze, as well as controlling the heart.

Answer

Fikre-Aakhirat, Muhasabe-Nafs, abudance of zikr, fixing a punishment upon the nafs when it flouts.

E.g. £1 Sadqah every time it gazes with lust, or 11 times istighfaar whenever it stares. You do this a few times and you will gain control over yourself. This is because shaytaan likes sins and hates good deeds. When he sees that, he makes you commit on sin and you do eleven istighfaar, your rank is being raised and he hates this, so he won’t pester you. He will get of your back and go after someone else.
