Q209: How to attain closeness to ones Shaykh

Assalaamu Alaikum,

Shyakh can you advise of how to attain closeness to ones own Shaykh, I have taken bayat from my Shaykh now for over 2 years although I feel if my Shaykh doesnt even know me, how do I get close to him?
