Q56: Is Salaah accepted if Adhaan is given without wuzu?

Question:

Assalamaikum, I was in jamaat for 3 days, at the time of Isha Adhaan, I was asked to give adhaan, which I did but later I reliased that my wuzu might be broken which I wasnt sure, I want to know that is the namaaz of every one expected.

Answer:

Wuzu is conditional for Salaah not for Adhaan. It is mustahab for the muazzin to have wuzu. So your Adhaan was valid and nobody has to repeat their salaah.
