Q320: Words of Adab and Respect

Question

Is it allowed to say:

  • Holy Quran
  • Holy Prophet
  • Quran Sharif
  • Hadith Sharif
  • Makkah sharif
  • kaaba sharif
  • madina sharif
  • masjid haram sharif
  • masjid nabawi sharif

Answer

Yes, they are all allowed, because this is adab, respect. The Qur’an says:

ذلك ومن يعظم شعائر الله فإنّها من تقوى القلوب

“Whosoever reveres the things attached to Allah, then this is a sign of piety in the hearts.” (22:32)
