What is tarbiyyah?
Tarbiyyah means upbringing or raising (child).
The parents do Tarbiyyah of a child by providing him with all his needs such as food and shelter as well as education and moral upbringing.
Allah is called “Rabb” because he provides for, sustains and nourishes the whole creation.
