Q433: Divisions in Eid and Ramadhaan

Question

Why are there always divisons when it comes to Eid and Ramadhan?
Should we follow the Sunnah or Saudi Arabia?
Saudi Arabia have been proven wrong by many ulama.
So what should we do, local moon sighting or follow Saudi Arabia through TV?

Regarding Eid and Ramadhan, if you live in England follow your local Masjid. If you live somewhere else where there is a moon sighting committee which is being followed by the people of your locality then one should follow them.
