Q636: job & salah

Question:

Salaam
For the first time in 2yrs Allah granted me a job, Alhamdulillah, I have missed my prayers because my work does not allow me to make namaaz (Dhuhr) and I travel so by the time I come home I can’t perform Asr. When I come home I don’t make Maghrib or Ishaa because then I’m just lazy! What should I do to start performing my namaaz again? I feel very lost!
Shukraan
Salaam

Answer:

Having a good job and a good income is necessary but Salah is fardh, so you have to create a balance between the two.

If you are punctual of Salah, Allah will give you barkat in your income otherwise halal income could go to waste as well.

The work place should be flexible with regards to religious matters, talk to them nicely and explain that you will only be taking a few minutes. Just pray the fardh and get back to work quickly.

May Allah make your matter easy for you and grant you istiqamat. Ameen
Wassalam
