Kindly inform me how to deal with people called Ahmadis or Qadianis if one works amongst them.Is it allowed to take meals prepared by them and answer their salutions.

Regarding the deviated sects among Muslims, there are scholars that specialize in dealing with such sects. It would be better that you refer to such scholars for details. 

Briefly, Qadiyaanis do not believe in the finality of our beloved Prophet (May Allah bless him and give him peace) which is a vital part of a Muslim’s beliefs. 

One who does not believe in the finality of the Prophet (May Allah bless him and give him peace) cannot be considered a Muslim. 

I therefore, advise that you abstain from eating meat offered by them. 

However, a Muslim is required to respect and show upright conduct to people of all faiths and background. 

Therefore, try your utmost to treat such people with respect and dignity, explain to them in a soft tone, as this may become a means of them accepting Hidayah.
