What is the ruling on using asthma pump while fasting?

Answer

According to the majority of the Hanafi scholars using an asthma pump will nullify the fast.

However, if you are in severe need of the pump and can’t bear without it then you may use the pump due to necessity and you should keep qadha of the fast on a later date. If you are unable to keep qadha then you should give fidyah.
