Q444: Question Regarding Dhikr

Question

I always here that to crush the Nafs and to cleans the heart you have to do dhikr prescribed by your Sheikh. What if your sheikh has not given you any dhikr except the four tasbees when will one be ready for dhikr?

Answer

keep in contact with your Sheikh personally, by writing or by other means of communication and keep him informed of your ma’moolat, then request him for dhikr, he will give you dhikr when he feels the time is right.
